Burntwood Be A Friend formed as a response to the covid-19 pandemic. It started out as a team of volunteers delivering groceries & prescriptions to those who were shielding as well as providing a telephone befriending service to help alleviate the loneliness that came with shielding.

Since then, BBAF has evolved to what it is today. A registered charity, a community store open to everyone and an ever-growing wellbeing sector with many strands to it.

We currently have 6 members of staff & 29 volunteers.
